Meals for Haiti

Waldorf College students, faculty and friends spent an afternoon packaging 50,000 meals to send to earthquake stricken Haiti. More than $13,000 were raised for the meals and hundreds of area school kids, youth groups and business people assisted in packaging for the Kids Against Hunger event.

Waldorf Choir Headed on Tri-State Tour

Best wishes to the Waldorf Choir as they embark on their three-state tour on Saturday! Be sure to catch their home concert at Immanuel Lutheran Church Sunday, March 14, at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services.

The choir will visit churches in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. Committed to the tradition of praising God through song, the choir performs a wide variety of repertoire representing various historical time periods including music from the ever expanding Lutheran Choral Tradition.

Good Luck Warriors!!!

Good Luck to the Waldorf Wrestling team. They will compete this weekend for the national title!

The team placed 4th at the regionals in Oskaloosa, IA. The Warriors will travel to Oklahoma City University for the 2010 NAIA National Championship on March 4th.

Preacher Moss and the End of Racism

Preacher Moss will present his "End of Racism" comedy and lecture presentation today at 10:15 a.m. in the Atrium.  All are welcome!

I am really looking forward to the re-opening of The Gallery in its new Campus Center location, in the former faculty lounge. Painter Tracy Sweet will be there toinght from 7-9 p.m

Break!

Waldorf College students are on break until January 11, 2010.

Waldorf College students took a break from studying for finals with a late-night pancake dinner and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.  Check out the pictures on the right......hope everyone remembered to give Santa a wish list!

What beautiful sounds coming from the Waldorf Choir in chapel this morning!  It sounded like Christmas, for sure!

Lutefisk, lefse and kringla - uffda!

Christmas with Waldorf was amazing!  The elegant dinner had so many offerings - not just the traditional Norwegian fare - but so many other selections, it was hard to decide!  We had fun getting to know people at our table and sharing our misery of overeating as we sipped coffee.

The concert was beautiful.  So many hours have gone into rehearsals and it showed.  And those backdrops painted by Kristi Carlson...incredible!
