My first Christmas with Waldorf

I started at Waldorf in February, so I have not yet been to the annual Christmas with Waldorf festival - I am so looking forward to it this year!  I have learned that the Scandinavian dinner is truly something to see - lots of food, an elegant setting (even an ice sculpture), and some traditional fare such as lutefisk and lefse.  The concert itself sounds fabulous!  There will be a huge, handpainted scene as the backdrop (Kristi Carlson does this every year).

Thanksgiving Break!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all have a fun safe break! Don't forget about all the other fun festivities this week though! There's Student Senate, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Wrestling and free movie nights sponsored by SWAT just to name a few. Enjoy the short week!

Hey everyone, it's a short week ahead of us with Thanksgiving Break starting this Wednesday, but plenty of activities are still happening!

Hey all, are you familiar with Makemba or Makayabu? Are Pepparkakor or Mandazi regulars at your house? These are dishes from different countries like the Congo, Sweden, and Tanzania and you can gobble them down (and many more) at the Global Food Fest, hosted by the Global Culture Club at Waldorf College. When can you get your hands on these tasty treats you ask? The dinner will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the Atrium. Tickets are only $3, and if you want to take out your sweetheart for a unique date, hop on over to the Theatre department's performance, "The Merchant of Venice". Local male singers in the Forest City community are invited to lend their voices to the Viking Men’s Chorus at Waldorf College. The chorus will be performing a piece by Pietro Yon: “Gesu Bambino,” for the annual Christmas with Waldorf event on December 5 and 6.
