Poetry reading and book signing by esteemed author Tod Marshall

Mark your calendars for this month’s reading by poet and Gonzaga University Professor of English, Dr. Tod Marshall!

Marshall will read from his work and sign books Monday, March 29, at 6:00 pm in the Art Galley. Copies of "Dare Say" and "The Tangled Line," his critically-acclaimed books of poetry, will soon be available at the Waldorf bookstore.

Marshall's first collection of poetry, "Dare Say", was the 2002 winner of the University of Georgia’s Contemporary Poetry Series. His second collection, "The Tangled Line", was published by Canarium Books in April 2009. He has also published a collection of interviews with contemporary poets, Range of the Possible (EWU Press 2002) and an accompanying anthology of poems by the interviewed poets, Range of Voices (EWU Press 2005). Marshall was born in Buffalo, New York, and earned an MFA in poetry from Eastern Washington University and a PhD in literature from the University of Kansas. He teaches English at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.
