So, what is Relay?
Relay is a unique community event where our team raises money to support the American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission. We’ll take turns walking around the track – we need at least one person on the track from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please click the team link to donate and/or walk, then email Heather Jordon your preferred time. We can walk alone, in pairs, or large groups, but we need to have Waldorf represented on the track for the full event.
To start off the evening, there is an incredible ceremony to celebrate cancer survivors and caregivers, and at dusk, a moving ceremony is held to honor and remember those who have fought the disease. Relay is a night full of fun, hope, and remembrance - a life-changing experience.
When being faced with cancer, many people can feel helpless. Now is our opportunity to do something and fight back against the disease by joining my team. We have the power to help create a world where cancer can no longer claim another year of anyone’s life.
If you are not able to participate at Relay this year, please consider supporting our efforts by making an online donation.
Thank you!
